Painted Pony

Debbie Woodard began designing needlepoint in 1989, after working for several years in a needlepoint shop in Austin, Tx. After designing custom canvases for the store's customers, Debbie was asked to develop a line to show at the store's annual Christmas-in-July event. She did, the designs were a hit, and the line was born. The name of the company reflected Debbie's love of art (including a degree in Commercial Art) and her desire to use the money she made painting needlepoint to purchase her first horse.
